Bae Jin-young's Transformation and Expected Debut CIX - Movie Star

I wrote CIX's Movie Star review in a post just before I wrote it earlier this month, but it was only after 14 consecutive days of skipping the post. I had to take a blog off because I had to go on my second trip to Russia only about two months after I went there, but I thought I'd try to use it when I went on a trip, but it was impossible in reality Since I was busy with work, I had to prepare for the trip completely, so I had to go around all day and go back to my hotel to take a rest, so I had to plan my trip the next day, so I had to even blog. When I came back from my 10-day trip to Russia, I came to my senses and realized that I had not reviewed all the idol songs that were released during today's trip, but now I think I have to catch up.

Since I haven't listened to many new songs, the music I listened to the most during the trip has become the album of C.I.X. As Kang Daniel mentioned in his "What's the Year of the Year" post, there are some things that I kept hearing because I was satisfied with not only the title track but also the songs in the album. Above all, it was very nice to see Bae Jin-young so well.

It's already been three weeks since it came out, and Movie Star was a music that really upset expectations and gave a lot of satisfaction. When I first heard it, I felt a little obvious that it didn't deviate much from the typical boy band style, but after two or three times, I thought it was a song with an unexpected perfection. In fact, when I heard the name of C.I.X., I really didn't expect it. It seems that a small agency that only has good days believes in Bae Jin-young, but since Bae Jin-young's presence has never been highlighted in Wanna One, he wasn't expected to do much after Wanna One's breakup. Personally, I openly cheered for Bae Jin-young and Kim Samuel on this blog in the early days of "Produce 101 Season 2," but that's what it is, and as a result, I wasn't really looking forward to my performance as a singer even after the show was over.

However, as the timing coincided with the best of Wanna One's hopeful Kang Daniel, Bae Jin-young's new debut group C.I.X. showed the opposite of Kang Daniel's expectations. Unlike Kang Daniel's album, which has a strong sense of urgency, the album's overall concept and musical direction were unexpectedly good, as it was thanks to the readiness of C9 Entertainment, which has been closely planning for Bae's activities since Wanna One's disbandment. For a rookie group, Bae Jin-young, who was not a member of the group that highlighted sexiness especially in Wanna One activities, put on the title track "Movie Star," which is rather heavy and sexy, instead of feeling soft. There, the songs also have unique songs that are reasonably differentiated while bringing about unity.

The title track "Movie Star" and other songs in the album are not differentiated as they are similar to EXO's overall music. In fact, the fourth album containing EXO's "Ko Ko Hop" is not a worn-out and worn-out music repeated by several boy bands, but it also feels quite original. On the contrary, I wanted to listen to more music, but I want to say that I feel like I'm bringing a new piece of music while I'm changing a little bit.

The choreography was not exaggerated, and the sexy atmosphere had better be felt well, and the music video also had various light effects, creating a luxurious atmosphere. Not envious of idol groups from big management companies, we used a lot of high-priced clothes to style them from our debut. I think that's definitely making more sense. It feels like you paid a lot of attention to the debut of Si-X.

What I liked more than I expected was the growth of Bae Jin-young, whose name is "Ilchuk singer. Since he wasn't a member of Wanna One's show, he was less able to see his growth, but he was still not confident during Produce 101 Season 2 and was a bit clumsy, but he could only see that he played his part enough as a center for C.I.X. He dances with his short face, big height, broad shoulders and sleek body-like strengths, but it really helps the mood of Movie Star. It was more than expected that he could act with his face, which was somewhat decadent when he was still full of boyishness. Some doubted that he took the center for free using his previous name only, but the moment he saw his debut performance, his thoughts flew away and he only showed Bae's remarkable growth.

I don't think we're going to take this concept just once. I'm already looking forward to what kind of music we'll bring next to Movie Star. Other members besides Bae Jin-young haven't mastered enough yet, but I think the members who don't have a lot of height difference have made a bad composition to improve the mood of C.I.X. There are aspects that have been improvised so far, so I'm sure if our teamwork will be firm and show proper synergies, I'm looking forward to it.
