Yeah, it tastes like this. Red Velvet - Jim Salabim
From the moment I first heard the hot new song of Red Velvet, Ah~ This was the music I was waiting for. Bad Boy, Power Up and RBB, which have been out since Picasso, were so far from my taste that I was stingy with compliments every time I posted a Red Velvet, but this Jim Salabim thought I'd have to like it right after I heard it for the first time. The very music that Red Velvet had hoped for and hoped for returned to Jim Salabim with the feeling of it.
It's art from the beginning. The drumming, which seems to signal a cheerful march, begins with a flurry of tension. Already, I have a feeling that something great is about to begin with just that, and the members' chirping and laughing sounds are added to the sound of their chirping, and the sound of their squeaking sound is added to make me think that I have moved to a mysterious amusement park in an instant. When you watch a music video with the music video, the effects of the video are several times greater than when you listen to the song. In this part, the light in the amusement park and the CG scene in which the aerial swings are spinning is the best. This is when only 20 seconds have passed based on the music video. There's more to come.
The first part of the song, which starts with Irene saying, "Don't be tired of memorizing or chasing after me~ ♬, makes you feel like you feel like you're losing your confusion. When Seulgi parts, which say, "Throw all your worries over the square earth, you start to fall into the charm of this song." The song that I wanted to go on like that was called "Jimsalabim Jimsalabim Jimsalabim Jimjim ZimbalabimJim~ ZimbalabimJim~ ZimbalabimJimJim~ ZimbalamJim~ ZimJimJim~ ZimJimJim~ ZimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJim~ ZimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJimJ It's the first time in a long time that Girls' Generation's attempt to mix up several songs they've tried on I Got A Boy shines in Red Velvet's Jim Salabim. It's not like I Got A Boy, but it's similar in that it has all the different colors in it.
I like the part where Joy and Wendy's vocals are followed by Irene and Yeri's rap part, which reminds me of Red Velvet's debut song, "Happiness." Again, Jim Salabim.#It repeats itself, then it's a sudden EDM party~ And then the soft bridge part starts, which seems to be totally out of place, and then it picks up speed and mixes with EDM again. Can you imagine the image of two different streams of clear water and muddy water meet and merge into a river stream that is the middle color of the middle? It is mysterious that music that seems to be in a play is combined into one. Personally, I think this is the most attractive part of the song. When Wendy sings high-pitched songs with clean vocals that look like she didn't ask a speck of dust, the drumming sound that was coming out of the beginning of the album gets stronger again. It feels like the music explodes with the end.
The music video is as great as the song. I love the introduction I mentioned earlier, and after Yeri's roller coaster starts, Irene's face appears through the clouds. It's really cool. Irene is so pretty. Irene seems to be the prettiest person in the video. Ah, before that, Zoey's scene in the elevator girl is a real ddeok. Beauty shines. I love the clever scene where a roller coaster goes around Irene and falls into a cup of coffee. The scenes in which instruments such as drums, trumpets, cymbals and saxophones dance in the air are perfectly compatible with the atmosphere of the song, such as the exciting festival, and Ye-ri, who rides a merry merry merry-go-round at the end, appears through the clouds. The mix of fantastic elements fits the mood of the song so well.
I went from the middle to decorate the drawers like a castle in the middle of an amusement park. I thought the ball from there was coming down the roller coaster rail, but when I looked around, the concept of Red Velvet's albums has been melted. The Ferris wheel shows watermelon, kiwi and pineapple in red taste, the animal with open mouth appears to be RBB, and the house next to it appears to be the house in Picasso. The closet in front of you was in Rookie, and the lake in the jungle was in happiness, right? There's a conveyor belt I saw from Dumb Dumb. It's not a big deal, but I feel like I'm just getting excited and happy to put together all of my concept images and guide them to the world of Red Velvet.
When I listen to Jim Salabim, which has a very diverse feel, a lot of songs come across my head. I talked about happiness with I Got A Boy, and there are many other songs that come to mind. The sound of the drum in the introduction reminds me of the Dancing Queen drum of Girls' Generation, and the strong rhythm of the drum plays an important role in the entire song, which reminds me of the first love of FnGuide. In the middle of the movie, the sound of laughter reminds me of the RBB, and in the climax part, which is about to explode after being rushed to EDM, Ohmy Girl's fireworks display reminds me of this. In addition, in the light of the fact that the repeated parts of "Jimsa Salabim" are slightly indian-style, Ohmy Girl's WINDY DAY is recalled and the main choreography of Shakra suddenly rubs off.
Anyways, even though it's the first day of the song, I'm already more than satisfied with the song and the music video.ᄒᄒ It's a very experimental and unfamiliar song, but it's actually unique within the range of familiarity with SM's music that's been going on since F.X. It doesn't sound ridiculous. Despite this, there seems to be considerable disagreement over the song, as was the case with RBB. Personally, if the RBB was on the other side, this time it is actively on the side of the affirmative. This is what I wanted for Red Velvet, a novelty that is not obvious but different from the existing Red Velvet music.
The album is titled ``The ReVe Festival'' Day 1 and has more follow-ups, as can be inferred from ``Day 1.'' I heard that Day 2 will be released within the summer and that I will be able to see the finale within this year. I'm looking forward to how wonderful Red Velvet's spectacular festival, which started with a Jim Salabim, will continue. I hope the fantastic journey that started with Jim Salabim will lead to the best moments until the end. I will finish today by praising Red Velvet and Esm, who have come up with great music.
